About the Heelcups.com Team

One team, one subject: everything below the ankle that hurts, and what actually helps.

Who we are

HeelCups is written, edited and fact-checked by the Heelcups.com Team, a small editorial group that has spent years researching and reviewing consumer health and comfort products. Every article and review on this site carries the team byline, and every one goes through a second pair of eyes before it publishes. We are not doctors or podiatrists and we do not claim to be — where a topic needs a clinician, we say so and point you to one.

What we cover

Heel pain and its usual causes — plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, Achilles irritation — and the products people buy to feel better: insoles, heel cups, night splints, supportive socks, foot massagers and foot-care basics. We explain the problem in plain English first, then review the products with the same structure every time: a verdict score out of 10, pros and cons, how it works, who it's for and who should skip it, and an FAQ that answers the questions people actually search for.

How we're funded

We're reader-supported. When you buy through a link on HeelCups, the retailer or brand may pay us an affiliate commission at no extra cost to you. That is our only business model. Brands cannot pay for coverage, buy a better score, or have a review removed. Our full affiliate disclosure spells it out.

Our rules on a health topic

Foot pain is a health subject, so we hold ourselves to stricter language than a gadget site. We talk about relief, comfort and support; we never say a product cures, treats or heals a condition. We don't invent testimonials, review counts or expert endorsements. Where a brand makes a claim we can't verify, we say so in the review rather than repeat it. The full process is in How We Review, and the boundaries of what we can tell you are in our medical disclaimer.

Who owns the site
